We all need some Vitamin Sea! It's almost summertime, but here we are still living in the new normal life amidst the crisis.  I really do hope and pray that this will end soon. I miss running around the sand and being able to swim in the lake/ beaches. I miss the picnic by the beach with my friends. As I reminisced all the wonderful and happiest moments with my friends, it made me value those simple moments and appreciate our life before COVID. I promise to myself to make the most out of my life and to create more happy memories and be able to live my life freely and meaningfully.

My thoughts keep on spinning and spinning like a whirlpool.

It is where I drowned with my own thoughts.

It sucks away my life and my being till I reach the bottom.

Forever trapped and forever lost.

Down in the deep with my whirlpool of thoughts.

We all are physically, emotionally, mentally tired. It is a constant torture within ourselves that we have to fight with daily. Our lives are drained by negativities and demands of the society. When we were a child, we always do whatever we want under the sun. We chose to love and to be happy, but as we get older we choose to survive instead to live. Surviving with every penny that we worked for with blood, sweat, and tears. Is this the life that we always want? To work all of our lives and to die with regrets of not doing what we want and to choose happiness. As we grow up we are dictated by the society of how successful person looks like. Having mansions, lots of money, lots of cars, being famous, and all materialistic stuffs. Do these things make our lives purposeful, worth living, and genuinely happy? My idea of sucess can be very different from others. It is the exact opposite of materialistic success. I aim to have simplicity of life with my own family. Having a peaceful mind, having strong bond with God,  being able to do my passion which is arts and travels , and being able to help those people who are in need, and being surrounded with the people that I love is how I portray my kind of success. I know my purpose, and I know what I really want in my life. I am still working on that goal, even though my job is hard I always endure it with God's guidance and I always ask for strength in every challenges that I take. I dont ask for an easy life, but rather I ask for strength and guidance in my every day life. We always gain something by learning the hard way. It strengthens us and gives us more experience and wisdom to make ourselves better than yesterday. I really do hope and pray that one day I will be at that place where I always wanted to be. Life is a precious gift that we need to enjoy to the fullest and  to be able to live our lives meaningfully.

Sea &  Me

Waves crashing with might

A majestic view of delight

As sunset kissed its surface

With a calm sea of its grace

Overlooking to the horizon of colours

Glistening away like theres no tomorrow

Washing away all my heart's sorrows

With a glimpse of the calm sea

I found  peace and love in me

Hollow Heart

My love has grown into despair

weeping in the hollow's lair

wallop by darkness to thin air

vanquished and relinquished

for my tear would never shed

for once my heart had beaten

would never ever be awaken

for my love had died with him

I really miss wandering around the sand and hearing the waves. I really miss the sea so much, and it is really sad that I am not able to see it because of the lockdown. This pandemic taught me to value the simplicity of things that made us genuinely happy. Whenever I see beaches, it brings back the memories from my home town. Almost every other weekend we go swimming at Samal Island with my cousins and friends. Cool music, endless swimming adventures, cliff diving, parasailing, scuba diving, jetski, and etc are my kind of adventures. It frees my soul from all of the stress. I just feel great, and for once whenever I have those kinds of adventures I feel brave, free, and happy. The sea brings calmness and peace of mind for me. It brings me joy whenever I go swimming with the crystal clear water and the sight of the sunset by the beach. I truly miss the sea life! I miss home. I always dream of having a house by the beach, walking with a happy heart, and enjoying the sunset. I love the simplicity of life by the beach. Far away from the busy lights, streets, cars, and life of the city.  I told my s.o that if we ever to get to retire someday. I would love to settle down in Samal Island, and just live a simple life. That's why I strive hard to work and save up in order to live the life that I always wanted. I am very hopeful that it will become our reality. My heart will always yearns for the sea.

"There are so many things to be thankful for." A quote from my dear resident. It is truly an inspiring and powerful sentence. It reminds us that even though we have a lot of rainy days or down moments in our lives, we have to remember that there are things, though it might be little, that can make us see a spark of hope and blessings from it. Every day is a blessing.

Every day I will post at least 5 things that I am grateful for. It will serve as my reminder even though I am having a bad day that there are so many things to be thankful for.

April 25, 2021

  1. I am thankful that I got to spend time with my family.
  2. I am grateful for the financial abundance.
  3.  I am thankful for a new day to grow wiser.
  4. I am thankful for my parents for always being there for us.
  5. I am  thankful that me, my family, and my friends are healthy.

The Young Man and the Starfish

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his journal writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day he was walking along the shore.

As he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day. So he began to walk faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn’t dancing, but instead, he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.

As he got closer he called out, “Good morning! What are you doing?”

The young man paused, looked up and replied, “Throwing starfish in the ocean.”

“I guess I should have asked, why are you throwing starfish in the ocean?”

“The sun is up, and the tide is going out. And if I don’t throw them in they’ll die.”

“But, young man, don’t you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it. You can’t possibly make a difference!”

The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves and said, “It made a difference for that one.”

There is something very special in each and every one of us. We have all been gifted with the ability to make a difference. And if we can become aware of that gift, we gain through the strength of our visions the power to shape the future. We must each find our starfish. And if we throw our stars wisely and well, the world will be blessed.

Dear lovely tides,

Like the sea, we need to wash away the negativities in our lives and let the calm tide surrounds us. We are often bombarded with different stressors in our lives like work, family, relationships, studies, and etc. Don't let these negativities in life define you and consume you. You are a wonderful person and a precious one. You need to accept these negative feelings, and let your mind and heart be at ease that someday and in some way that it shall pass. You will receive more happiness, love, and peace of mind which you always deserve. Don't lose your hope and just keep your faith. You are a strong tide that will crash all the pain and hurt that is inside you. You are a powerful and amazing person that you could ever imagine. Just believe in yourself that you can overcome this! Always be grateful and be kind to yourself and others!  You're not alone in this my lovely tides.

PS: I'm always here my lovely tides, Just feel free to PM me♡

Love,

Miss Sea ♡

“The sea is emotion incarnate. It loves, hates, and weeps. It defies all attempts to capture it with words and rejects all shackles. No matter what you say about it, there is always that which you can't.”

I just crave the cold breeze of the pastel-coloured sky and the lullaby of the sea as I lay down to slumber.

The Treasure

Your eyes are like the depths of the ocean
A beautiful sight to see
Glistening eyes full of mystery
Like the sea that shines at night
with the attitude of a stormy sea
which everyone can easily agree

But what could be more beautiful that hides from within?
Into the depths of your soul
Like a vast sea of the unknown
I was lost and had fallen
You hid your treasure as far as it can be
Through the darkest depths of the ocean, you kept
Safely hidden and cold as it is

A strong heart that is cold as an ice
which you'd thought would be nice
As no one would dare to try to touch a cold heart,
for it bears pain like a flame
But a heart filled with warmth can ease the pain of the cold!
The warmth of love, I'm hoping for you to feel
For your heart is truly special, if one can only see
A fragile and special treasure that I have once found
Through the depths of your soul
Just as much I love the sight of the ocean at night,
Reminds me of the treasure hidden in the deep.
